November 2009
WORK PARTY Hello fellow members. We have two very important trail work parties coming up. Please let me know if you believe you can attend, this way I can contact you in case of weather cancellations or other issues. Please wear comfortable warm clothing, gloves and hunter orange is always advisable. We will have drinks, snacks, and food. If someone has a pickup truck and would be willing to drive on the trail to carry our gear that would be very helpful also.
On November 7th at 8am at the Cross Country Skier parking lot we will meet and work on the Archery Trail. There are many smaller pine trees that have grown up and branches are also in the trails (10-98 Podunk Road Pembroke NH 03275)
On November 14th at 8.00am at the Henry W Moore School in Candia we will meet and go to the trail access point for Hall Mountain. There is alot of brush and trees leaning into the trails. If we do not clean this out we will not be able to groom that trail this winter. (12 Deerfield Road Candia NH 03034)
Lastly, the Groomer Operator Meeting is scheduled for November 9th at 7pm at the clubhouse. I am not expecting a lot of open positions this year, though I may have a couple in Pawtuckaway. If your interested in getting traileds and maybe covering a shift when possible please come to this meeting.
Thank you for your help, without you it wouldn"t happen.

2010 SNHSS CLUB TRIP
This years club trip to pittsburg will be January 15 and 16 returning on the 17th. Some rooms are available for Wednesday and Thursday the 13th and 14th,
The trip is open to all club members and their immediate families on a first come first serve basis. The trip fills up fast every year so don't hesitate, sign up soon. The cost will be only $40 per person per night. For those who have never been on a club trip, we stay in cabins and houses owned by Mountain View that are in the immediate Pittsburg vicinity. We try as best as possible to arrange for you to share the accomodations with those who you request. The cabins all have cooking facilities if you want to do that or there are a number of restaurants in the area as an alternative. The last 4 years we have been fortunate enough to have been invited to a dinner on Saturday night hosted by the Pittsburg Ridge Runners at their clubhouse. It has made for an enjoyable evening where we can all get together and share stories of the days events. We hope to be invited back again this year. A couple of years ago they prepared for a larger group that what showed up so I will need an accurate number this year in order for them to prepare properly.

Do not forget our open house on November 22 from 10am to 3 pm. We will be serving food and MOMS OF MANCHESTER will once again be attending. Let me know if there is anything that you would like to see!
